SMILE OF THE IDOLS

On a hill side top
rock carvings 
makes up a 
temple roof...


idols stands there
day and night
and they smile for years
with same expression...


pot bellied men
chants day and night
people from far and near 
climb hill to pray...


their grievances are
like the hill pile up day by day
but still idol
expresses the same...


the chanting has 
spread all around
like a tune and is one
in the atmosphere...


but still; the idols are there
they smile the same
the hill;the men
and those people to pray!!
